I looked up the date: it was a Thursday. What we were doing posing for pictures on a weekday? And then I realized: it was Thanksgiving.
I am very thankful to have Jim Leddy for a father. Happy Father’s Day to him and to all fathers.

Look at you all bundled up while he freezes!
I’m tempted to look up the weather for that day. Let’s just say that my parents dressed their sons with caution.There is ample photographic proof.
The Times reports the temperature that day as ranging between 47 and 60.
